Ordering Policies

PRICES:
Prices are subject to change without notice. Price lists are updated throughout the year. Published price list is based on cash sale or Net 30 days subject to credit approval. Please contact Campbell Scientific (CSI) for other terms and applicable pricing. For destinations outside the USA, please refer to our international price lists.

PAYMENT TERMS:
Net 30 days on approved credit; all other orders accepted with cash in advance. Application for credit requires CSI credit application and a current balance sheet. Apply for credit terms.

CREDIT CARDS:
American Express Corporate Purchasing Card, VISA, Discover, and MasterCard are accepted.

SHIPPING POLICY:
All shipments are FOB Logan, Utah, with freight and insurance prepaid and added to the invoice as a separate item.

DISCOUNTS:
Applied to prices published herein; some products excluded, see footnotes for details. Discounts do not apply to freight or insurance.

  • Quantity
    7% from list for 10-24 units of the same model on the same order. 10% from list for 25 or more units of the same model on the same order. Cable lengths are not discounted.
  • Educational Institutions
    4% from list for 1-9 units. For 10 or more units, see quantity discount above. Cable lengths are not discounted.

PREPAYMENT:
On orders of $2000 or more, a 3% discount is offered for full prepayment. Campbell Scientific calculates prepayment amount at time of quotation. Full prepayment must be received before production begins. Prepayment discount is not applicable for credit card payments.

TAXES:
Seller's prices do not include sales, use, excise, or other taxes. Accordingly, buyer shall, in addition to prices specified by seller, pay any sales, use, excise, or other tax attributable to the sale of the goods covered hereby, or, in lieu thereof provide seller with tax exemption certificates acceptable to the taxing authority. CSI is required to collect sales taxes in the following states: CA, FL, IN, KY, MI, UT, WA, WI.

MINIMUM ORDER:
Orders for less than $50.00 must be prepaid or credit card. Please include an additional $15.00 handling fee.

FACTORY REPAIR:
Products may NOT be returned without a purchase order and prior authorization (RMA) by the factory. Repair charges: $110.00/hour (minimum charge $110.00).

WARRANTY POLICY:
PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED BY CAMPBELL SCIENTIFIC, INC. are warranted by Campbell Scientific, Inc. (“Campbell”) to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for twelve (12) months from date of shipment unless otherwise specified in the corresponding Campbell pricelist or product manual. Products not manufactured, but that are re-sold by Campbell, are warranted only to the limits extended by the original manufacturer. Batteries, fine-wire thermocouples, desiccant, and other consumables have no warranty. Campbell’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at Campbell’s option) defective products, which shall be the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty. The customer shall assume all costs of removing, reinstalling, and shipping defective products to Campbell. Campbell will return such products by surface carrier prepaid within the continental United States of America. To all other locations, Campbell will return such products best way CIP (Port of Entry) INCOTERM® 2010, prepaid. This warranty shall not apply to any products which have been subjected to modification, misuse, neglect, improper service, accidents of nature, or shipping damage. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. The warranty for installation services performed by Campbell such as programming to customer specifications, electrical connections to products manufactured by Campbell, and product specific training, is part of Campbell’s product warranty. CAMPBELL EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Campbell is not liable for any special, indirect, incidental, and/or consequential damages.

RESTOCKS/RETURNS:
With some exceptions, unused products may be returned within 60 days of purchase with prior authorization (RMA) by the factory. Returned products must be resalable as new. A 15% restock fee will be charged ($50.00 minimum). Credit will be given only to the billing party on the invoice. Credit will not be given for cables or tubing cut to user-defined lengths or for services performed on products, such as extended temperature testing. Products that may not be returned include: cellular transceivers, antenna cables, software, consumables, services, obsolete products, specially modified versions of our standard hardware, products not shown on our standard price list, or products that are marked as not returnable on our standard price list.
