42899 Battery and Desiccant Kit for the CR1000X-Series and CR6 Dataloggers

Overview

The 42899 kit provides a replacement battery and desiccant for the CR1000X-series and CR6 dataloggers. The kit consists of a single 0.16-unit silica desiccant bag and a 3.6 V 2.4 Ah lithium AA battery. When shipped, the data logger has one bag of this desiccant inside it. While the supplied desiccant should fill the initial needs of most applications, it should be periodically replaced. Campbell Scientific recommends replacing this desiccant when the data logger's internal lithium battery is replaced.
