Overview
The CABLE8T8PIN (cable) is an extension cable used to add cable length between a sensor and a data logger that uses the eight-pin, A-coded M12 connections. The cable has a pin (male) connector and a socket (female) connector to seamlessly integrate between a sensor and data logger. The CABLE8T8PIN is available in four standard lengths (3, 10, 17, and 33 ft) with the ability to connect multiple cables together; however, the best practice is to use a single cable to the nearest length needed rather than connecting multiple cables. The cable is IP67 rated with 24 AWG internal wires and a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) jacket.
