Read MoreThe DC112 enabled communication between a data logger and a computer over a public switched telephone network. It was connected to the data logger at the field site. A Hayes-compatible modem was required at the computer base station.
The DC112 was powered by the data logger's power supply via the SC12 Cable (provided).
Given an average application with several hundred data points being retrieved daily, the differences in on-line time between 1200 baud and faster modems were only a few seconds. With large data files, however, a faster modem was recommended.
