Hi,
I can easily connect with Cora Script on the machine that LoggerNet is running (connect localhost;), but when I want to connect from another machine (connect server-name;), I get the error
-connect,"session failure".
In the handbook it says that "The connection to the server was lost while this command was executing."
Any hints on how to solve this?
Thanks!
Please check your firewall settings both on the remote PC to check the Corascript program is allowed to make outgoing connections and also on the Loggernet server to make sure it is not blocked from receiving connections on port 6789. Any firewall devices in between the two PCs also need to be checked.
In addition there is an option in Loggernet, accessed from the toolbar, under tools, options where you need to make sure the "Allow remote connections" box is checked.
Great, thanks for your really quick help! Checking "Allow remote connections" solved the problem.
I am having a similar problem, just the opposite....
I cannot login with cora on localhost. Works for all servers except for localhost.
CoraScript 1, 12, 03
connect localhost;
-connect,"session failure"
Have also tried "connect localhost --user={} password={};" with similar result.
If I run Loggernet client on my computer without login to any server. Then cora_cmd works just fine with the "connect localhost;. The moment I quit the client, I cannot connect to local host. I can use cora to connect to a remote server without having to run the client.
Any ideas?

If you are using LoggerNet or are using LoggerNet Admin but not running the LoggerNet service, you will have to have the LoggerNet tool bar loaded in order for the LoggerNet service to be available on you machine.
