Hi,
I am trying to Run loggernet 4.1 as a service however we don't have the password which was in putted during installation.
error message " The password entered does not match that of the existing LoggerNet account"
We have tried to un install loggerNet and reinstall but the set-up didn't ask for a password.
Is there a way of resetting/ changing the password without knowing the original password. Also the account created by this service it it call "Loggernet"?
Thanks for your help
Martin
Please please help.....
Anybody from Campbell with Experience on this????
Please see section 2.4 of the Loggernet PDF manual. As described there the Loggernet user is a standard Windows user account, albeit hidden. If you have full administrative rights for the computer you can use the advanced user management options to reset the password if necessary. There may be consequences of doing this if you have setup limited access directories for that user, but a PC administrator can normally sort this out.
I would advise stopping the Loggernet service before making any changes.
Hi
I'm having this wrong password issue as well.
Using the Note at the end of section 2.4, shows me that there is no user named LoggerNet on my machine, however after re installing loggernet and trying to install the loggernet service I am unable to install due to an incorrect password.
For some reason the service believes there is a user account with a password, is there any way of clearing this record?
Thanks
Are you sure it is not asking you to enter a password (for the first time) for the LoggerNet user account that will be created during the installation?

Yes I'm sure - any suggestion?
