Hi everybody,
I need to connect a NL100 to a computer using LoggerNet (or other) via SSH. Is there a way (I've found none...)???
Please let me know if someone have a solution.
Thank you,
Aurelien
At present, neither the datalogger nor the NL devices support the SSH protocol. The NL100 is an obsolete device and it is unlikely to ever support SSH. The NL200 and NL240 device types do support TLS connections.
Thank you for this precision.
So there is no available secure connection at all for a NL100?
That is correct, there is no secure connection option with the NL100. Depending upon your needs, however, and the dataloggers that you are using, you might be able to accomplish the same thing by using PakBus encryption which is supported in LoggerNet 4.2 as well as recent operating systems for the CR1000, CR3000, and CR800. This mechanism provides a means of securing datalogger communication paths end-to-end so it wouldn't matter whether the NL100 supported TLS or SSH.
A CR3000 is behind the NL100 so that could be a solution.
I will dig into this direction. Thank you.
