Dear all
i actually test a communication in gsm between a cr510 and a com110.
so does an instruction exist for known the quality of the signal when i connect with loggernet?
Or are you a solution for known the quality of the signal?
regards
Hi to All
The first thing I would do is to check at site of the station, with the AT command, the level of GSM signal strength (AT + CSQ). See the modem manual also.

Dear Smile thank you for your answer.
I know this AT command but does it possible to do it when the modem is installed on site and when we are at the office?
i'm not sure. what do you think about this?
regards
Hi
Unfortunately, the CR510 can not communicate with the modem, or seems very difficult or complicated.
So what I mean is to check the GSM signal with the modem connected to the PC before the final installation.
Usually the GSM signal does not change over time unless problems or restructuring of the GSM network.
Perhaps with the CR10X and P15 instruction, you could do something to monitor, over time, the GSM signal.
While I write this reply, I get an idea, if every xx hours, the logger send to you an SMS or make a phone call (to a cell phone or a fixed line, using well one of the serial instructions P96, P97 or P98,) you can occur, in roughly mode, that if you get a text message or you can find the missed call, the signal is sufficient to connect!
The logger Campbell help our imagination!
