I have a CS106 barometer installed at 1214 meters above sea level. It appears to be reading low (833-845 mbar most of the time). I've tried a couple of CS106 barometers - same issue, which tells me it is a software issue.
Am I correct in my understanding that the "Sea level elevation correction (0=no correction)" field in Shortcut is where I am supposed to put in the elevation of my barometer (i.e 1214m)?
I don't understand how the software can calculate pressure at altitude accurately if one doesn't also have to input the current pressure at sea level.
Currently (as I write this) I know of a station at sea level that reads 1018.9mb while mine at 1214m.a.s.l is reading 835.3mb
Please assist

That is correct 'Sea level elevation correction' is where you would enter your elevation in Shortcut to use the elevation adjustment.
The equation in use for the adjustment is shown in section 8.5 of the CS106 manual. ShortCut will perform the calculation with the elevation you entered and adjust the offset on the measurement in your datalogger program.
