Hello,
We have just put in place a radio network between distant dataloggers.
The network entry point is provided by a CR1000 (GSM modem and RF416).
From that point we can target other sites equiped of one or more datalogger through RF416 radio modem.
The network works properly in the first layer (i.e we manage to establish the link between the CR1000 and other device trhough RF416).
example: GSM > CR1000(RF416) > CR1000(RF416) > LINK OK
But in two cases where we have linked a CR10XPB behind a CR1000(RF416) by a direct wire communication, we never succeed to reach the second datalogger (CR10XPB)
The CR1000 is configured as "router" and the CR10XPB as "leaf".
example: GSM > CR1000(RF416) > CR1000(RF416) > Null-modem cable+ CS-IO converter > CR10XPB > SERIAL FRAMING ERROR
However, when we try to do that kind of connexion without radio network, it is working properly:
example: COMPUTER>RS232>CR1000>Null modem cable + CS-IO converter > CR10XPB > LINK OK
Is someone have any idea about a parameter we may miss?
We have already check packbuss and "router" "leaf" settings.
Regards,
Firmin
I would guess that you are using an SC32B.
Set the CS-I/O ME baud rate to 9600 on the CR1000.
We are using a SC929 with a null modem cable.
The CS-I/O baud rate is set to 9600 fixed on the CR1000.
