HC2-S3 problem; too high temperature

Tomek Nov 23, 2015 11:29 AM

Hello, I have one problem with new fabric sensor HC2-S3.

Problem:
too high temperature (to 1-3 degrees Celsius) in opposition to sensors HMP155 and RM Young 43347 RTD and even Campbell 107. Humidity is lower for HC2-S3 in opposistion to HMP155 about 3-5%. This problem there is for my all HC2-S3 sensors.

Tested:
Logger: CR1000

Sensor: HC2-S3 (temperature&humidity) NEW

Wires:
-scan interval: 30 seconds
-single-ended datalogger connections

--green: +5V
--gray: G
--brown: (temperature) H
--white: (humidity) L
--blue&clear: signal ground
--yellow&'red' not used

Line program example:
VoltSe(AirTC_HC2S3,1,mV2500,1,True,0,_50Hz,0.1,-40)
VoltSe(RH_HC2S3,1,mV2500,2,True,0,_50Hz,0.1,0)

Tested for various new 3 pieces HC2-S3 sensors
for other various loggers 2x cr1000 and 1x cr3000;
used to calibrations:
-1x HMP155
-1x RM Young 43347 RTD ventilated
-2x Campbell107

Tested laboratory conditions (about +22 deg C and 35%)

Do You have any ideas? :/
Regards.
Tomasz

Those wire colours do not match those we use nor our recommended connections. (In particular the signal and power grounds should be connected to analog ground).

Please check the cable wiring and refer to our manual.
