Overview
The 30217 is a kit that allows a fine-wire thermocouple to be mounted alongside an IRGASON. The kit includes a mounting bracket that bolts directly to the CM250 Leveling Mount. The 30217 replaces the 27497 mounting bracket that is included with the IRGASON. The FW05 fine-wire thermocouple, 10080 TC cover, and FWC-L cable are sold separately as accessories. Type E Fine-Wire Thermocouple with 0.0005 in. Diameter
One FW05 can be operated per IRGASON, but it is recommended to have three spares, as they break easily. The FW05 is a 0.0005 in. diameter, type E thermocouple mounted on a stainless-steel bayonet. The FW/ENC carrying case is required.

An FW/ENC Fine Wire Carrying Case is required to ship or carry the fine wire thermocouples. The case can house up to four FW05s.

Connector Cable for Fine-Wire Thermocouples
An FWC Connector Cable is required for the FW05. An extra four feet should be ordered, as this length of cable should be bundled inside the enclosure to minimize heat conduction on the terminal strips. The remaining cable length should be long enough to travel up the mast, across the crossarm, and to the IRGASON.

Thermocouple Cover for CSAT3, CSAT3B, or IRGASON
The 10080 is a white thermocouple cover for the FW05, FW1, and FW3 connectors. This cover is placed over the Omega-brand thermocouple connectors and is used to mount the connectors to the side of the CSAT3 or IRGASON FWTC bracket. A CSAT3B or CSAT3A also requires the 31423 Fine-Wire Thermocouple Cover Backplate.
