The 39022 provides recommended annual preventive maintenance service for the WEATHERPAK™M to ensure these systems are performing within specified accuracies.

This preventive maintenance service provides the following:

• Replacement of all O-rings
• Replacement of barometer hard hat filter 
• Temperature/relative humidity service to check the accuracy in room conditions if it has been more than two years since the last service:
  • For the HMP50 or HMP60, a replacement relative humidity chip and filter cap are provided.
  • For the HC2A-S3 or similar, three-point calibration is performed. The filter cap is inspected and replaced as needed.
  • If the sensor cannot be calibrated, an estimate for replacement will be provided. 
• Replacement of the WEATHERPAK M lithium battery or batteries
• Replacement of the desiccant packs
• Full testing of the WEATHERPAK M:
  • Radio output power test
  • A check that the barometric pressure is within spec
  • GPS functionality
  • Compass test/alignment
  • Basic tower test if applicable
• Full testing of the WindSonic/MetSENS200 wind sensor
• Display:
  • Verification of communications with the WEATHERPAK M station
  • Replacement of the internal batteries as needed
