DLDMOD

DLDMOD (pn 7819) was a PC-compatible programming package for creating application-specific program generators such as WeatherPro (see PC100). To create a DLDMOD-application, the user needed to understand Campbell data logger programming, as well as a conventional programming language such as Basic or C. The programmer used DLDMOD to develop a series of menu screens and help windows, which allowed field personnel to answer specific questions about their installation. Because it was much easier to create a .DLD file directly with Edlog, DLDMOD applications were only practical when a related group of end users were creating or modifying similar .DLD files.
