Measurement and Control Datalogger
- Model:
- CR10X
- Item Number:
- CR10X
Overview
The CR10X provided sensor measurement, timekeeping, data reduction, data/program storage and control functions. The CR10X stored up to 62,000 data points. Data and programs were stored either in a nonvolatile Flash memory or RAM. A lithium battery backed up the RAM and real-time clock. The CR10X also suspended execution when primary power (BPALK, PS100) dropped below 9.6 V, reducing the possibility of inaccurate measurements.
Technical Description
The data logger consisted of a CR10XM Measurement and Control Module and black CR10X Wiring Panel.

Replacement Parts
(4)8025
3 V 24 mm Coin Cell Lithium Battery
The 8025 powers the clock and RAM when the primary 12 Vdc power supply is not connected. This lithium battery must be replaced when its voltage falls below 2.4 Vdc.

CR10XWP Wiring Panel Base Plate
The 4107 base plate is a component of the CR10XWP Wiring Panel that is available as a replacement part.
Orderable3768
2-Pin Screw Terminal Plug Connector
The 3768 is shipped attached to the CR10X. This green, plug-in power connector provides screw terminals for connecting the 12 V and GND wires of the data loggger's power supply. The 3768 may be purchased to replace a lost or damaged power connector.
Orderable3315
Type T Thermocouple
This type T thermocouple is attached to a differential channel on the CR10X. The programming examples in the Overview Section of the data logger manual use the 3315.

Services
(4)16542
CR10X Calibration with Data (-25° to +50°C)
The 16542 requires an RMA (Return Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific. When ordered, the CR10X is calibrated to meet original specifications. Before and after calibration sheets are supplied with the data logger. The data logger is calibrated over the standard -25° to +50°C temperature range. If extended temperature testing is desired while the unit is being calibrated, the extended temperature testing services (15843 or 16146) must also be purchased. The above price assumes a fully functional data logger; repair chargers will be added to the invoice.
Orderable15843
CR10X Extended Temperature Test (-55° to +85°C)
Testing is available only for individual units that have previously passed Extended Temperature Testing. Testing also requires concurrent purchase of calibration, in this case, the 16542. An RMA (Return Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific is required.
Orderable16146
CR10X Tested to Extended Temperature (-55° to +85°C)
Individual data loggers can also be returned to Campbell Scientific on an RMA to determine if they can pass Extended Temperature Testing. Extended temperature testing of a previously purchased unit also requires purchase of recalibration.
Orderable21852
ISO/IEC 17025 Datalogger Calibration Verification with Certificate
This service increases delivery time by approximately one week. The 21852 is offered for customers who order a new data logger and, in addition to the Campbell Scientific calibration over the selected temperature range, require calibration verification from a certifying body that is A2LA accredited to the ISO 17025 standards. A paper certificate of the ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration is provided.
