Overview
The ENC12/14 is a medium-sized, weather-resistant enclosure that is 12 inches wide and 14 inches tall. It is our most popular enclosure that balances cost with space requirements. This enclosure can house a data logger, a power supply, and one or more peripherals, depending on the footprint.
Please note that a grounding wire is not included with the enclosure.

Technical Description
The ENC12/14's backplate is prepunched with half-inch-on-center holes suitable for attaching a data logger, power supply, and a communications or measurement and control peripheral.
The ENC12/14 is shipped with the 7363 enclosure supply kit that consists of desiccant, a humidity indicator card, cable ties, wire tie tabs, putty, grommets, screws, and PVC coupling. Additionally, Campbell Scientific offers a CS210 Enclosure Humidity Sensor for monitoring relative humidity inside of the enclosure. (See Ordering Info on the web page.)

Desiccant and Document Holder for Enclosures
The 10525 is attached to the inside of the lid of a Campbell Scientific enclosure with adhesive Velcro strips (supplied). The holder accommodates two packages of our 4-unit desiccant.

Enclosure Leg Stack Mounting Kit
The 31551 is a kit to allow stacking of components inside Campbell Scientific enclosures. The kit includes two leg brackets. It is used to raise a datalogger up and off the backplate so that wiring is easier or so that components can be stacked.

Hinged Enclosure Stack Mounting Kit
The 31143 is a hinged stack bracket that is designed to fit a CR1000 datalogger, CR6 datalogger, or multiplexter on either the top or underneath. The hinge enables access to the equipment underneath without disconnecting any wires (assuming that the wires are long enough).

Smart Enclosure Sensor
The CS211 is a low-power, smart sensor designed to monitor temperature and humidity levels inside enclosures. The sensor features an optical door switch to detect door openings and closings, and a multifunctional button that recognizes short, long, and double presses for user-defined actions. Additionally, the CS211 includes an LED indicator to signal enclosure wetness and when desiccant needs to be replaced.

Replacement Enclosure Humidity Indicator Card
The 28878 is a replacement humidity indicator card. It provides a visual reference of humidity level inside the enclosure. Colored circles change color from blue to pink to indicate humidity levels of 30%, 40%, and 50% relative humidity. Double sticky tape on the back of the card allows it to be easily secured to an enclosure lid.

Universal Backplate for ENC12/14
The 6315 Universal Backplate is available as a retrofit for older enclosures. It is a 12" x 14" aluminum backplate for the ENC12/14. The backplate is completely pre-punched with a matrix of half-inch-on-center holes. This backplate replaces the 5948 Half Universal Backplate, which contained press-in hardware for CR10 and 21X (upper half) and 1”-on-center holes (lower half).

Enclosure Filter with 60 Micron Pore Size
One 6832 filter may be installed in one of the small compression fittings (cable entry seals) in the enclosure to allow air pressure to equalize between the inside and outside of the enclosure. As such, the filter is used only when the cable entry seals option is selected for the enclosure (item 6447). The filter is typically used when a barometric pressure sensor (or, in some cases, the cable termination of a vented submersible pressure transducer) will be located inside the enclosure. The filter has a 60 micron pore size.

ENC12/14 Tripod Leg Mounting Kit
When ordered with the enclosure, this is the "-LM" option. It may be ordered as a replacement part if the bracket gets damaged or if another option was orginally chosen. The 18956 allows the enclosure to be attached to the leg base of a CM110, CM115, or CM120 lightweight tripod.
